I”m not into those expensive systems you see in health stores. Are there certain foods to eat, things to drink, vitamins to take that will aid in flushing out toxins from my body that I can do at home? Also, I am taking a pro biotic, will it interfere with that?

Answer:

You can get a green tea drink will detox your body.It will move your bowels anywhere from 3-6 hrs. after drinking it.The only problem is,it’s hard to find,so I order it from the Internet and the shipping is a little steep. The name of it is “3 BALLERINA green tea. The tea itself is very cheap(less than .00 for 30 tea bags). It is also a diet drink

There are several types of detox diet:
- The Master Cleanse Lemonade Diet
- The Mono Diet that focuses on single fruit diet for cleansing
- The Raw Fruit Vegetable Diet
- Juice Fasting
- Etc

It is a good idea to research and find out which detox diet you wish to align yourself to. By doing so, you are more likely to stick it out and obtain the benefits of cleansing.

Since cleansing, I’ve felt much better and more energy.

I get all my free tips from a detox diet newsletter that I subscribe to. The newsletter also gives out practical recipes on how to go about cleansing. You may wish to sign up here http://www.detox-cleansing-diet.com

I am a tea drinker and recently got some Detox tea that has 10 different Chinease healing herbs and I am curious if this stuff also rids your system of antidepressent medicine at all? Obviously, that’s not what I want it to do, I just want to rid my system of everday toxins. Thanks for any info!

Answer:

Detox tea doesn’t “strip out” anything, including the stuff it claims. Everyday toxins are cleared by the various organs in your body without your having to do anything special.

I don’t want a diet! I just would like to cleanse my body of all the toxins and bad stuff to feel re-energized and healthy
I don’t want a diet! (However if the detox does have weight loss effects that’s ok, just making it clear that i am not specifically looking for a weight loss detox)
I just would like to cleanse my body of all the toxins and bad stuff to feel re-energized and healthy.

Answer:

Detoxing is a myth (not to be confused with physician supervised drug detoxification). It is an idea that was never backed by science but by companies selling scam products. Look into it through reputable sources of information and don’t waste your money. Just eat healthy, exercise and your body takes take of foreign and undesireable substances on its own.

I weigh 140 and want to lose 20 pounds. I googled detox diets and found one that’s lose 21 pounds in 21 days. I would like to find other detox diets and ones that are healthy! If you have any good liquid detox diets or drinks i could drink i’d love to know them!

Answer:

There are no good detox diets. Detox diets, cleanses, and supplements don’t work. There is no diet which will cause your body to get rid of toxins, heavy metals, poisonous by-products from smoking, drugs, etc. And cleanses for the purpose of weight loss don’t work because they can only eliminate water and small amounts of waste which the body will replace very quickly.

well against most environmental insults and the effects of occasional indulgence. Don’t waste your money…follow a healthy, balanced lifestyle instead.”

Your body cleanses itself naturally. And cleanses, purges, emetics, enemas, etc. cannot remove fat from your body or make your body lose fat and/or toxins. If fat is your problem, you’re eventually going to realize that nothing works except a proper diet for life or surgery. The best diet for all normal adults hasn’t changed. It is still a varied, balanced, nutritious, and properly apportioned diet of high quality foods.

Detoxification is a fad and a fantasy only. If you have reason to believe you’re toxic, consult with your doctor. Don’t waste your time paying attention to advertising hype, naturopathic gurus, homepathic charlatans, etc. The road to good health is paved with science.

Good luck and good health!!

I was planning on fasting one day per week to help get rid of toxins and overall be a healthier person. I would of course drink water and take a multi-vitamin. Is this healthy? Or should I do it once every 2 weeks?

Answer:

When doing a detox its usually a 7 days. Its can be rough on your body. It will not work if you do not eat for a day. That will just make you hungry. A detox is getting rid of toxins and so fourth. Usually fresh veggies and fruit with lots of water is the normal detox. There are so many kinds.
I do eating clean and that is a Natural way to detox however im sure that it might not be easy for you to do fully if your younger. However always drink cup of warm water with lemon juice squeezed. I use fresh lemons every morning. This helps move toxins in your liver. Then you eat fresh fruits and veggies and nuts. It will cause headaches and you will get hungry. I would look online or go to a book store for a proper detox. Is really something not worth doing if you are just going to turn around and eat the foods that are full of refined sugar, sodas, junk, fried food, anything unhealthy. I suggest you get the book Clean eating recharge. that will give you some suggestions of what you need to do. I don’t want to be responsible for telling you a detox and you get very sick cause some will.

What are the best methods to rid your body or parasites, and any other toxins in your organs, skin, etc. that won’t effect any meds your taking?

Answer:

Go to a Doctor for medication. Home remedies usually do nothing, and a lot of times can actually make the problem worse. If you have a parasitic infection, you need medication to rid your body of the parasite. As far as toxins in your organs, I’m not sure what you mean. If you mean those toxins that build up over time due to just living, don’t worry about them. You will find many websites that try to sell detoxifying products but remember those websites are there to make money. Eat a healthy diet, exercise, take some normal multi-vitamins, and have annual checkups with the Doctor to help stay healthy.
