I am allergic to MSG (Monosodium Glutomate), a flavor enhancer added to many fast foods and processed foods. When I get too much built up in my body I start showing symptoms such as fatique, body aches, stiff joints, muscle soreness, arythmia (irregular heart beat) and tachycardia (rapid heart beat). Is there a diet or process to eliminate MSG quickly from the body?

Answer:

Try these out – see if they work for you:

Charcol Tabs are a natural body cleansing supplement. Used for detoxification. You can find them at any drug store.

Beets also detoxify by “scrubbing” the liver of toxins. Raw is best.

My main purpose is the health benefit, but the weight loss would be a nice extra. I would like to lose 15 pounds in 6 weeks, but want to jump start my health kick with a detox.

A good detox program is Isagenix. They offer a 9-day or 30-day cleanse program to detox your body and feel great.

I am on their health and wellness maintenance program that I do every month. With this program you cleanse your body twice a month. You also drink a shake every morning take antioxidants and a multi-vitamin every day. I have more energy and feel great. For more information click on link.

There are several types of detox diet:
- The Master Cleanse Lemonade Diet
- The Mono Diet that focuses on single fruit diet for cleansing
- The Raw Fruit Vegetable Diet
- Juice Fasting
- Etc

It is a good idea to research and find out which detox diet you wish to align yourself to. By doing so, you are more likely to stick it out and obtain the benefits of cleansing.

Since cleansing, I’ve felt much better and more energy.

I get all my free tips from a detox diet newsletter that I subscribe to. The newsletter also gives out practical recipes on how to go about cleansing. You may wish to sign up here http://www.detox-cleansing-diet.com

I often have sleepovers with friends and it’s heaps of fun and everything, but we do eat a lot of junk food and drink a couple of bottles… I do enjoy it but it’s a lot of rubbish i’m consuming and the next day i feel crappy. How and what can I do to cleanse my system and get rid of all the crap?

Answer:

You could drink lots of water the next day – or even start doing that before you go to sleep the same night. Water will cleanse your system, and rehydrate it.

But even better than water, is fresh juices (not bottled or canned juices), which not only hydrate you, but give you heaps of nutrition as well. A juice fast, even for just 1 day, will help your body recover after a binge of junk food and alcohol. It’s like a mini-detox.

Get yourself a juicer, get hooked on juicing, you’ll feel so much better all the time. Lots more benefits of juicing at the link below.

I’m trying to get healthy, I’m 16 and have been feeling bogged down, depressed, sick, and all together unhealthy. Someone told me a detox would be a great way to start a new life style. Does anyone know of a good detox diet?

Answer:

Drink water! You should probably only do a detox diet for a day or so. You are probably feeling bad because you’ve eaten something bad, and drinking water should clear out your system. Also, if you don’t like water very much, there’s a product called Crystal light, Its a calorie free sugar free flavored drink mix. Another thing, if you feel hungry, try eating water or tea with a spoon, it kind of tricksyour brain into thinking your eating. You may look silly but it helps!

I am at home. There is no starting over. I did without for 48 hours and then used once.About 18 hours ago, and I don’t feel too crappy.Just wondering what tomorrow will be like.

Answer:

Yes. If you are dependant to an opiate and detoxing and take a dose during withdrawals you will just be back where you started after the dose wears off. It is basicallly torture to do that. The best thing you can do is just keep to it and not take anything. Even after 4-6 month of being clean if i would use for 1 day i would still get a minor withdrawal day. 2 days of use in a row and i would need 3 days of w/d.
