Has anyone had success reducing cellulite by modifying diet? If so, what did you eat & for how long?
“Detox” diets are usually liquid and/or starvation diets; these can actually make cellulite WORSE.
Eat proper healthy food, and more importantly exercise, especially weightlifting.
I’m 15 years old and not very healthy, I’m not fat but I’m not getting skinny either….anyways my point is I read that detoxing and cleaning my insides can help me get rid of acne…I’ve already stopped eating junk food for the past 2 weeks but I really need to get rid of the acne and I need a good detox plan to help me with this
Any suggestions?
If I went on this detox and stuck to it for the time it says what are the benefits? I’m 17, female, a normal weight and healthy, if that helps.

Ive done many, im known as the ‘ detox girl’ lol. Anyways, it clears your skin, takes care of bloatiness, u feel clean and lighter and more energy after the detox is over. It caused me severe constipation and a little dizzy as the cons for a detox
I wouldn’t mind detoxing my body of anything that shouldn’t be there or is making me sluggish. I don’t won’t to lose weight though and I need to eat because I do weight training. Basically, I’m not fat and I’m trying to put on muscle and just become more fit and healthy. Can you recommend me anything I can do without fasting?
I’m trying to get healthy, I’m 16 and have been feeling bogged down, depressed, sick, and all together unhealthy. Someone told me a detox would be a great way to start a new life style. Does anyone know of a good detox diet?
Drink water! You should probably only do a detox diet for a day or so. You are probably feeling bad because you’ve eaten something bad, and drinking water should clear out your system. Also, if you don’t like water very much, there’s a product called Crystal light, Its a calorie free sugar free flavored drink mix. Another thing, if you feel hungry, try eating water or tea with a spoon, it kind of tricksyour brain into thinking your eating. You may look silly but it helps!
I don’t want a diet! I just would like to cleanse my body of all the toxins and bad stuff to feel re-energized and healthy
I don’t want a diet! (However if the detox does have weight loss effects that’s ok, just making it clear that i am not specifically looking for a weight loss detox)
I just would like to cleanse my body of all the toxins and bad stuff to feel re-energized and healthy.
Detoxing is a myth (not to be confused with physician supervised drug detoxification). It is an idea that was never backed by science but by companies selling scam products. Look into it through reputable sources of information and don’t waste your money. Just eat healthy, exercise and your body takes take of foreign and undesireable substances on its own.
I am not vegetarian / am open to all ideas / fairly healthy at the moment.
I saw this one ad on TV the other day about some detox things that you put on your feet everyday.
I forget what it was called, sorry.
But try looking it up.
I weigh 140 and want to lose 20 pounds. I googled detox diets and found one that’s lose 21 pounds in 21 days. I would like to find other detox diets and ones that are healthy! If you have any good liquid detox diets or drinks i could drink i’d love to know them!
There are no good detox diets. Detox diets, cleanses, and supplements don’t work. There is no diet which will cause your body to get rid of toxins, heavy metals, poisonous by-products from smoking, drugs, etc. And cleanses for the purpose of weight loss don’t work because they can only eliminate water and small amounts of waste which the body will replace very quickly.

“The human body can defend itself very
well against most environmental insults and the effects of occasional indulgence. If you’re generally healthy, stick to giving your body what it needs to maintain its own detox system— a healthful diet, adequate fluid intake, regular exercise, sufficient sleep, and all recommended medical check-ups. Don’t waste your money…follow a healthy, balanced lifestyle instead.”

Your body cleanses itself naturally. And cleanses, purges, emetics, enemas, etc. cannot remove fat from your body or make your body lose fat and/or toxins. If fat is your problem, you’re eventually going to realize that nothing works except a proper diet for life or surgery. The best diet for all normal adults hasn’t changed. It is still a varied, balanced, nutritious, and properly apportioned diet of high quality foods.
Detoxification is a fad and a fantasy only. If you have reason to believe you’re toxic, consult with your doctor. Don’t waste your time paying attention to advertising hype, naturopathic gurus, homepathic charlatans, etc. The road to good health is paved with science.
Good luck and good health!!
?
i just bought a trial of acai berry supplements and detox pills do they really work for weight loss like they say they do?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooo
The ONLY thing that works in a manner that will STAY and that is HEALTHY is regular exercise and nutricious food.
Throw the pills in the trash and google healthy food choices for maintaing a healthy weight.
Every 6 months there is a new “miracle” pill that will help you lose weight.
its all a sham……
Just empower yourself and do research on food choices, NOT dieting and you wil succeed.
Trying biking to work, go on a dauily walk,
I heard someone say the other day “Diets? I dont like them and I DONT do them. BUT I DO maintain an ACTIVE lifestyle”
Thats key.
pills will only make it worse in the long run
You can do it!!
Just wondering. I keep getting headaches, and tension in my neck and shoulders nearly everyday. There is really no reason.
Try working out sessions like running, swimming.
Sweat till you drop exercises.
Do stretching exercises.
Rather than going for detox, I would suggesting working out a lot every single day and refrain from drinking alcohol and eating artificial sugar, not smoking and not doing drugs.
Always eat everything in moderation.
Do yoga and sleep, sit and walk in correct posture.
Stiffness of neck can be associated with stress as well.
