I don’t have cranberry juice, but I have pomegranate juice. I want to do a lot of cardio and running right now to detoxify my body, so would pom juice work the same as cran juice would? What does cranberry do that makes it so cleansing vs pomegranate?

Answer:

Anything cranberry juice does, pomegranate does better. It cleans your system while protecting your arteries, heart, and cartilage. I like both but I can’t get enough of Pom.

There are several types of detox diet:
- The Master Cleanse Lemonade Diet
- The Mono Diet that focuses on single fruit diet for cleansing
- The Raw Fruit Vegetable Diet
- Juice Fasting
- Etc

It is a good idea to research and find out which detox diet you wish to align yourself to. By doing so, you are more likely to stick it out and obtain the benefits of cleansing.

Since cleansing, I’ve felt much better and more energy.

I get all my free tips from a detox diet newsletter that I subscribe to. The newsletter also gives out practical recipes on how to go about cleansing. You may wish to sign up here http://www.detox-cleansing-diet.com

Information related to diets such as fruit and vegetable fasts, cleansing, etc can be included.

Answer:

Detox is essential to cleanse your body. Especially, there substances in our food that cannot be digested. When they stay back in digestive system, they could accumulate into a hard mass causing a lot of problems. But, detox methods could cause problems as well. They might flush out good bacteria necessary for digestion and other useful substances in the body. This could lead to digestive problems, dehydration or malnutrition.

So, the best thing to do would be opt for natural cleaners as you have rightly pointed out in your question. I will give you a link where I found some home made remedies for detoxification.

http://aboutwomenshealthissues.com/how-to-detox-your-body-with-home-made-remedies/2009/

These are simple things that you should be able to try out at home. However, remember that you should not repeat the detox process frequently. So, even before you choose the right method to suit you, just do a research on the method, make sure it does not have any side effects and make an informed decision. Good luck!

best product to help cleanse the liver, kidney, colon & intestines?

Answer:

Don’t buy any of those products that claim to do that. Water and eating right is the only way to cleanse stuff from your body that you put there in the first place.

You need to take a drug test. That is the only reason people try these things. You still have to wait the 3 to 6 weeks for the drugs to pass from your system.

I’m considering detoxing but I want to have some recipes to do so. Any suggestions?

Answer:

A Detox Diet (also called a cleansing diet) will remove toxins and poisons from your body. The idea of a good detox diet is to eat pure and natural foods that will aid the function of the lymph, kidneys, and liver. All foods that hinder the regime will be avoided.

Detox diets are controversial. Many feel that most of the so-called “medical science” presented in these diets is nothing more than fiction. It is true that most of these diets have quite severe restrictions, and should be embarked upon with great care.

Detoxifying Your Body

Generally most detox diets will contain the following foods:

Organic food and drink (no pesticides or fungicides).
Whole unprocessed foods (grains, nuts, seeds, etc).
High mix of vegetables and fruit.
2 liters of water per day
Certain herbs such as Psyllium seed, Licorice root, Yucca root, Milk thistle seed, Gentian root, to aid the detoxifying process.

Most detox programs will avoid the following:

Alcohol, caffeine, tobacco, and drugs
Processed and refined foods
Certain supplements (due to the amount of additives).

Reduction of Stress

Many detox regimes are holistic in outlook. It is important to address other areas of stress in your life, and examine lifestyle as a whole.

Instead of buying them? I heard that Vinegar and Green Tea are very cleansing for the body and can be placed under the feet at night time to detox the body. Any knowledge of this? Thanks.

Answer:

I heard that if you put your foot in some bleach or turpentine, that will be a good de-tox.

I really want to cleanse my body of toxins but don’t want to gain any weight when i’m off it. should i still do it to clean out my body?

Answer:

Your body doesn’t need ‘cleaning out’. We are not full of toxins, it’s a myth.
Eat a sensible diet and your body will look after itself.
We have skin, lungs, liver and kidneys doing the job and the colon is self cleansing.
The ‘cleaning out’ routines do more harm than good.

If you must do it water is far better than some of the dubious concoctions online that result in diarrhoea, electrolyte imbalance and a damaged gut.

I live in California so if any of you locals know where I can get a hold of any of this drinks or anything that could help me pass my drug test. I will really appreciate it.

Answer:

All detox products are a scam, if you did drugs you will fail the test if it happens with 30 days, 120 days if it’s a hair follicle test. No amount of water, coffee, or cranberry juice will save you either. Sorry, but these tests are basically cheat proof. Stop doing drugs or accept that you are going to fail some tests.
